Discipling generations of indigenous youth in the areas of spiritual life, Christian character, academic training, work skills, and theological-missionary training, so that they can serve God in the Amazon and to the ends of the earth.
We are a non-profit foundation dedicated to discipling, training, and equipping indigenous youth from the Ecuadorian Amazon.
Nanki Tsakari-Punta de Lanza was born from an evaluation conducted at the annual conference of the churches planted in the interior of the Amazon in 2017. We discovered that our churches had children, adults, and elderly people, but no young people. In January 2018, the project was written, and mobilization efforts began in 2019. By the grace of God, resources were obtained for the land, and during the pandemic of 2020, construction work began. Self-sustaining projects were developed: a pig pen for fattening, a shed for chickens, a pond for breeding tilapia, etc. These projects aim to generate food for the participants and possible additional income from personal care and education products.
Due to the wickedness of man in June 2021, illegal mining diverted the river that was more than a kilometer away and in 10 days destroyed everything that had been built. It was devastating. Those were very hard and painful days, but God strengthened us and guided our steps to continue the project by leasing in a neighboring camp of our town. Today we continue with the expectation of being able to settle on the land we have and thus fully develop God's purpose.
